Ontario DCC: DMAP, TDP and retail support status
OCI’s current Digital Competence Centre page lists DMAP support, a closed TDP intake, and the Retail Modernization Project Grant.
Current published position
| Stream | Published support | Status and key distinction |
|---|---|---|
| DMAP | Up to $15,000 | Planning with a Digital Adoption Consultant; first come, first served while funds last. |
| TDP | Up to $50,000 | Currently closed for applications; implements recommendations from a completed DMAP. |
| RMPG | Up to $5,000 | For eligible storefront retail businesses; first come, first served while funds last. |
Checked October 21, 2026 against OCI’s current page. Older material advertising a $150,000 TDP ceiling or a guaranteed $165,000 sequence does not describe the current offer. A DMAP award does not reserve implementation funding or reopen TDP.
Which business might fit?
OCI lists Ontario for-profit SMEs with 1–499 employees for DMAP and TDP. TDP additionally lists a completed DMAP and at least $750,000 in annual revenue in one of the last three tax years. RMPG is aimed at eligible consumer-facing physical locations, with 1–50 staff, at least one year of operation and at least $100,000 annual revenue. Read the current guidelines for the full legal and cost requirements.
Applicants can apply to DMAP or RMPG, not both. Before engaging a consultant, ask OCI about consultant or vendor registration, the current cost share, eligible costs and the date spending may start. Creatrixe does not represent itself here as an OCI-approved consultant.
What to do now
Choose whether you need a plan or a small retail technology purchase. Prepare the business details, current workflow and supplier quote, then contact OCI through its official page. Treat closed TDP funding as unavailable in your committed budget. If comparing debt finance, use the BDC LIFT guide and ask both administrators about overlapping costs.
