CDAP is closed: choose the next step by project type
ISED confirms that the Canada Digital Adoption Program concluded on March 31, 2025. Plan against currently available programs instead.
Do not build a budget around a new CDAP application
CDAP is closed. For an existing agreement, loan or unresolved claim, contact the administrator named in your documents; program closure does not tell you the status or obligations of an individual file.
Start with what you need
- Digital adoption financing: BDC LIFT combines planning and debt for eligible digital, AI, cybersecurity or equipment investments. It is not the same instrument as CDAP.
- Ontario planning or retail technology: OCI DCC has distinct streams. TDP is currently closed; do not assume planning support leads to an implementation award.
- BC AI projects: PacifiCan RAII has its own current business intake, project scale and repayable terms.
- Québec digital plans: consult ESSOR Volet 1 and confirm the relevant sub-stream.
- Innovation or experimentation: discuss NRC IRAP and review the separate SR&ED work test.
These are different routes, not a promise of equivalent replacement funding. If none fits your business, reduce the scope, phase the work or compare ordinary financing with self-funding. The Canadian funding decision guide explains how to avoid counting the same cost twice.
