Canadian AI funding and financing: find the relevant route
Compare the purpose and current status of Canadian adoption loans, innovation contributions, provincial support and SR&ED.
Start with the work you need to fund and the capital your business can carry. A loan, a reimbursement contribution and a tax credit create different obligations and cash-flow needs. Program eligibility and supplier selection are determined by the administrator.

Before combining funding
List every project activity, cost and proposed funding source. Disclose other public support and ask each administrator about overlapping expenses, total assistance and eligible spending dates. Treat an application or a closed intake as unavailable until there is a written approval.
Use the Canadian funding decision guide to prepare that comparison. For LIFT, use the preparation checklist and calculator with your own rate assumptions.
How Creatrixe can help
We scope and implement AI systems: defining the operating problem, assessing integrations and data, estimating delivery costs, and measuring results. We can supply technical information for your project discussion. The lender or program administrator decides eligibility, approved costs, suppliers and funding terms. Get the actual offer before committing your budget.
Each guide links to official sources checked on October 21, 2026. Recheck the administrator’s page before relying on an intake date or amount.
